Job summary

Pennard Vets is seeking an owner-centered role to map how our teams work onto new software. You will prepare training materials and SOPs before go-live, then relentlessly chase inputs and approvals to ensure every site is ready to deploy.

We value operations, practice management or project experience and understand clinical workflows. You will be integral to a successful rollout across our practice network, with equal opportunity and clear ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, practice management or project work.
• Understanding of clinical workflows is a plus.
• Ability to map team processes to new software and prepare training/SOPs.
• Ability to coordinate across sites and ensure go-live readiness.
• Willingness to work on a fixed-term contract for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Map how teams work onto new software and prepare training and SOPs for go-live.
• Develop training materials and SOPs to ensure site readiness.
• Own the checklist and chase inputs, decisions and confirmations until sign-off.
• Coordinate with multiple sites to ensure each is prepared for deployment.
• Explore AI tools to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.

Contract Fixed-term contract, 6 months with potential to become permanent

Working hours Full-time, open to part-time applicants (3 DPW)

Location Sevenoaks, TN13

We’re rolling out new systems across our sites. We need someone to make that land cleanly.

Not an IT role. An ownership role. You’ll map how our teams actually work onto new software, make sure training and SOPs are ready before go-live, and hold the single checklist that says whether each site is good to go. Then you’ll chase every input, decision and confirmation needed to tick it off; courteously, and relentlessly.

You’ll be brilliant at this if you:

• Hold fifty moving parts in order without dropping one
• Chase people politely and never let anything go quiet
• Own the outcome, not just your task list
• Are curious about technology and keen to use AI to save yourself time
• Stay calm when the plan changes (it will)

Operations, practice management or project experience is welcome. Understanding of clinical workflows is the cherry on top.
