Job summary

Hilton in McLean, VA is seeking a highly skilled program management professional to lead a one-year enterprise initiative accelerating digital stay capabilities across guests, Team Members, and owner/operators. You will translate strategy into cross-functional execution spanning marketing, technology, communications, enablement, reporting, change management, and support.

This is a contract role through Talent Solutions, with hybrid work onsite 3 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to drive alignment across internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong program management skills including planning, governance, risk and budget tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for executive updates and decisions.
  • Proactive risk, issue, and tradeoff management in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience coordinating agency and vendor workstreams, including procurement and budgets.
  • Familiarity with digital products, customer experience, brand activation, or loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery across cross-functional workstreams from mobilization to launch and sustainment.
  • Create and manage the integrated program plan with milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
  • Maintain PMO artifacts: roadmap, workstream charters, readiness tracker, risk and decision logs, budget tracker.
  • Coordinate business leads, workstream owners, and vendors to maintain alignment and progress.
  • Lead readiness planning, define criteria, track pilots and scale thresholds, and plan transitions for ongoing ownership.
  • Oversee agency/vendor workstreams, briefs, procurement, timelines, and budget implications.
  • Identify risks/issues early; develop mitigation plans and escalate decisions when needed.
  • Develop executive-ready communications synthesizing progress, risks, and next steps.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven program management professional to lead a high-priority, one-year enterprise initiative focused on accelerating awareness and adoption of digital stay capabilities across guest, Team Member, and owner/operator audiences. In this role, you will serve as the central force translating program strategy into coordinated, cross-functional execution spanning marketing, technology, communications, enablement, reporting, change management, and support. You will build the structure, visibility, and momentum necessary to deliver key activation milestones while laying a scalable foundation for long-term success. This is a critical leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex, matrixed environments and is passionate about driving meaningful outcomes through disciplined program management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end program delivery across cross-functional workstreams, from mobilization through launch and sustainment
  • Build and manage the integrated program plan, including scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, decisions, budget needs, and launch readiness
  • Establish and maintain core PMO tools, including the roadmap, workstream charters, readiness tracker, dependency map, action and decision log, risk log, and budget tracker
  • Coordinate business leads, workstream owners, cross-functional teams, vendors, and regional partners to maintain alignment and drive progress
  • Lead launch-readiness planning by defining readiness criteria, tracking pilot and scale thresholds, and coordinating transition plans for ongoing ownership
  • Coordinate agency and vendor workstreams, including briefs, procurement, deliverables, approvals, timelines, dependencies, and budget implications
  • Identify risks, issues, and tradeoffs early; develop mitigation plans and elevate decisions when needed
  • Lead program governance and operating rhythms, including working sessions, program reviews, sponsor updates, and milestone checkpointsDevelop clear, executive-ready communications that synthesize progress, decisions, risks, asks, and next steps
Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build alignment and drive accountability across internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong program management skills, including planning, governance, risk management, dependency management, budgeting, and executive reporting
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into concise, action-oriented updates and decision materials
  • Ability to identify and manage risks, issues, and tradeoffs proactively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Experience coordinating agency and vendor workstreams, including procurement, deliverables, and budget management
  • Familiarity with digital products, customer experience, brand activation, loyalty, marketing, operations, or change management preferred
Qualifications
  • Project management certification preferred, such as PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or Prosci, or equivalent practical PMO experience
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional enterprise programs in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience managing programs across the full lifecycle, from mobilization through launch and sustainment
  • Experience in hospitality, digital products, customer experience, brand activation, loyalty, marketing, operations, or change management preferred
