Job summary

Nabholz Construction is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires coordinating with the Preconstruction Department, managing budgets, schedules, and safety plans, and ensuring client satisfaction.

You’ll work with project teams to deliver quality work on time and within budget. Preferred candidates hold a 4-year degree in construction management and have 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years in commercial construction.
• Understanding of construction means, methods, and materials, regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Willingness to speak before groups in presentations.
• OSHA 30-hour training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development through the Preconstruction phase with support of the Preconstruction Department.
• Develop project management plan, including safety, quality, and site logistics plans.
• Manage commitments to Subcontractors and Suppliers, ensuring procurement policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Team and safety staff to ensure safe project execution and reduce incidents.
• Manage all financial aspects of the project, including setup, monthly billings, forecasting and closeout to meet profitability goals.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and designers.
• Provide team leadership, internally and externally.
• Anticipate construction flow for proactive planning.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasting final costs monthly or more often.
