Rycon Construction is an ESOP, employee‑owned company delivering construction management, general contracting, design‑build, and program management nationwide. We seek an experienced Project Manager for our Special Projects Group in Pittsburgh to lead small‑to‑mid‑sized commercial builds up to $5M, managing subcontracts, schedules, budgets, and owner relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in small to medium sized commercial construction projects up to $5 million in value.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to direct complex projects from concept to operational status.
• Ability to travel periodically to out-of-town project jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Read documents and contracts.
• Write subcontracts.
• Negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Review subcontractors’ scope of work.
• Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes.
• Review and prepare change orders.
• Develop and track submittals, RFIs and cost reports.
• Maintain owner relations and project budget / cost forecasting.
