Job summary

Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to lead on-site activities for commercial projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor budgets, ensure safety compliance, and maintain daily site records while communicating progress to the project team.

The role requires at least five years in supervision, fluency with drawings and specifications, and the ability to manage multiple trades and inspections. Rycon offers medical, dental, vision, 401k and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years construction supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall and finish trades.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate project schedule and provide scheduling input to PM staff.
• Coordinate daily activities for all subcontractors and manage construction to design, budget and schedule.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and submit invoices.
• Prepare daily log reports of site conditions, manpower and activities.
• Ensure safety procedures per OSHA and company requirements.
• Conduct safety evaluations and plan actions with contractors for safe work.
• Ensure tools and machinery are maintained and available.
• Schedule inspections and organize final inspections.
• Monitor daily procedures to ensure quality.
• Maintain daily communication with project management and respond to onsite incidents.
