Job summary

Leap29 is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in The Woodlands, Texas, responsible for delivering renewable energy construction projects across Texas and South Carolina. You will manage budgets, schedules, and performance while coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to keep projects moving and up to standard.

• Ensure health, safety and quality standards on all activities.

• Identify potential risks early and develop practical mitigations.

Leap29 are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager based in The Woodlands, Texas, with responsibility for projects across Texas and South Carolina.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong construction background who enjoys taking ownership of projects, leading teams and delivering work safely, on time and within budget.

You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to keep projects moving and ensure everything is delivered to the required standard.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of renewable energy construction projects.
• Taking responsibility for project budgets, schedules and overall performance.
• Working closely with site managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate construction activities.
• Monitoring progress and dealing with any issues that could affect programme or cost.
• Ensuring health, safety and quality standards are maintained across all project activities.
• Managing client relationships and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
• Identifying risks early and working with the team to find practical solutions.
• Overseeing project completion, commissioning and handover.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has experience managing construction projects from start to finish and can bring a hands-on approach to project delivery.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience as a Project Manager within construction, energy or infrastructure.
• A background in renewable energy, particularly utility-scale solar, battery storage or wind projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project costs and programmes.
• The ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors and build good working relationships with clients.
• Experience with project scheduling and reporting tools such as Primavera P6.
• A good understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
• A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.

You’ll need to be comfortable travelling to project sites in Texas and South Carolina as required.
