Job summary

WR Engineering in Texas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead energy infrastructure projects across the state, from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

The role requires coordinating engineering teams, procurement, EPC contractors and site personnel, managing budgets, schedules and risks to ensure safe, compliant delivery. Travel to project sites is expected. PMP certification or engineering qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within power generation, utility-scale solar or BESS.
• Engineering or construction management qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• PMP certification and experience with substations, grid interconnection or ERCOT projects would be advantageous.

Project Manager | Power Generation, Solar & BESS

Texas | $130,000-$170,000 base salary DOE

An opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead energy infrastructure projects across Texas, taking ownership of delivery from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in power generation, utility-scale solar or battery energy storage systems (BESS). Experience across all three is not essential.
