Job summary

KLA Industries in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Project Manager / Site-Superintendent for New Custom-Home Construction. You will oversee multi-home builds, from design hand-off through construction, subcontractor coordination, safety, final walk-throughs and COs.

The package includes a competitive salary, DOE bonuses per home, plus auto/phone allowance and standard benefits. The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years of ground-up residential construction experience, can manage 8–10 projects concurrently,

Qualifications

• Candidate will need experience in new/ground-up residential construction
• Managing multiple projects (8-10 typically) at one time
• Qualifications include a 4-5+ year track record of successful site-operations & project leadership and within New Home Construction
• Candidate will need to express good team-building skills & excellent communications abilities with customers/owners.

Responsibilities

• Over-communicate with customers to ensure the highest satisfaction
• Manage construction site from design hand-off to final walk and Certificate of Occupancy
• Regulating budgets and managing job costs.

  LOCATION: PETERSBURG VA !

  Compensation: $100K+ PER YEAR ( including Salary DOE; Bonus per Home; Auto/Phone allowance; plus additional benefits (PTO, Healthcare Insurance, 401(k); etc)

  About the company:

  A Regional single-family Home Builder with a small-company feel but extensive company support staff in place to help with all employee tasks at the local level.

  They work in 50 offices across 11 states and work directly with the local clients to build semi-custom homes in affordable to semi-custom niche.

  Your Responsibilities:

  • Over-communicationwith customers to ensure the highest satisfaction
  • Construction site management extending from the design hand-off process, to sub-selection & scope contracts to safety and final-walk & C/O.
  • Regulating budgets and managing job costs.
