Federal Heath Sign Company in Texas is seeking a Project Manager for our Hybrid in-office role (minimum 2 days per week) on the Custom Projects Team in Hurst/Jacksonville area. You will oversee day-to-day operations of custom signage projects from scope through installation, including cost control, site surveys, permits, and client communications.

Ideal candidates bring extensive signage industry knowledge, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a custom project and full scope of work.
• Costing, manufacturing, and installation from start to finish.
• Review site surveys and code checks.
• Populate estimate worksheets and customer proposals.
• Coordinate with installers to obtain permits.
• Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
• Communicate with Field Supervisors; maintain job costs.
• Create and manage change orders; generate variance and warranty reports.
• Process customer invoicing and approve AP invoices.

This is a HYBRID role, with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Position Objective and Responsibility:

A Project Manager (PM) on the Custom Projects Team will be primarily responsible for the duties and
activities outlined below:

• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a custom project and entire scope of work
• Responsible from start to finish, costing, manufacturing and installation
• Review and interpret site surveys and code checks
• Populate estimate worksheet and customer proposals
• Work with installers to obtain permits
• Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers
• Communicate with Field Supervisors as needed
• Maintain job costs
• Create and manage change orders
• Complete variance and warranty reports as needed
• Approve A/P invoices
• Process customer invoicing
• Customer communications – updates, requests for information, installation coordination
• Maintain internal systems and any customer specific programs/spreadsheets
  

Skills and Experience Desired:

• Extensive knowledge of the signage industry, experience with custom projects and hi-rise typesignage is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel
• Large custom project experience is desired but not required. Will train the right person who hasthe drive to learn and add to our success
• Construction background/experience is a plus
• This position requires a self-motivated, extremely organized individual capable of performingmultiple tasks independently while adhering to a stringent timeline
• This is a fast paced, detail-oriented position which requires a strong and committed teamplayer
• The candidate must be able to react quickly and resolve issues in a professional and timelymanner
