Project Manager – Scheduler

Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to own and update schedules for multiple US projects, with emphasis on data center development or related construction.

You will collaborate with PMs, CM, GCs, and technical leads to establish baselines, perform critical path analysis, forecast progress, and report milestones to internal and investor stakeholders. Travel up to 10% is expected; proficiency in Procore, MS Project and Primavera P6 is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as a project scheduler.
• Two or more years of dedicated scheduler experience in data center development or related construction (industrial or build-to-suit).
• Experience in data center development or large-scale GC scheduling preferred.
• Experience managing schedules of multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Procore and other construction management software.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6, including updates, baselines, float/variance analysis, reports, coding, and resource layout.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for gatherings or events.
• Must answer whether United States employment visa sponsorship will be required.

Responsibilities

• Own and update multiple schedules for projects across the United States.
• Consult with project managers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, and technical leads to establish baselines, critical path analysis, planning and forecasting, and progress validation.
• Identify potential schedule delays and escalate to the appropriate Project Manager.
• Document project scheduling processes and maintain records.
• Coordinate timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reporting on project progress.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate multiple planning scenarios.
• Support schedule and milestone reporting for internal and external parties.
• Incorporate and interpret information from disciplines across the Rowan team.
• Develop summaries for weekly, monthly, and quarterly internal and investor updates.
• Conduct weekly/daily delay surveys, update schedule changes in real time, and quantify schedule impacts.
• Contribute to processes, training materials, and scheduling best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience as a project scheduler
• At least two years of dedicated scheduler experience in data center development or a related industry such as industrial or build-to-suit commercial construction
• Experience in Data Center development or large-scale GC construction scheduling is highly preferred
• Experience managing schedules of multiple complex, multi-phased projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Procore and other construction management software
• Advanced proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6, including project updates, maintaining a baseline, analyzing float and variance, logic checks, reports, coding, and resource layout
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment
• Ability to travel up to 10% for company gatherings or industry events
