Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest is seeking a Detail Project Manager with extensive experience in rebar detailing and construction project management. You will manage complex projects from estimating to final completion, coordinating detailing efforts, schedules, and costs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, engineers, and architects, overseeing contract performance, and driving profitability for projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated construction project management experience or at least ten years’ experience as a rebar detailer.
• Familiarity with ACI codes and CRSI standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents/drawings and coordinate detailing efforts for cost-effective delivery.
• Provide total contract management including detailing, scheduling, delivery and costs.
• Oversee contractual obligations and communicate with contractors, detailers, engineers, and architects.
• Coordinate project requirements with contractor representatives and rebar installers.
• Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors and production staff.
• Assist in the change order process and approve changes with customers.
• Interpret plans and contract terms for staff and customers.
• Represent the company in project meetings and manage financial aspects of contracts.
