Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Phoenix Initiative) in New York, NY.

You will provide dedicated PM support for large-scale technology transformations, coordinating planning, execution, and governance across Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Compute, Resiliency, and Enterprise Architecture. The role requires 5+ years in technology PM/PGM, ability to manage multi-workstream programs, executive updates, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience in technology or transformation environments.
  • Experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream programs with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing executive-level status updates and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Proven track record leading complex technology transformation programs as PM/PMO.
  • Experience managing project plans, dependencies, milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and cost oversight.
  • Background in infrastructure modernization, cloud migration or data center initiatives.
  • Strong governance, RAID management, planning, risk tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and governance.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams and vendors.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager (Phoenix Initiative) in New York, NY. Key Tasks:

  • Provide dedicated project management support for large-scale technology transformation initiatives, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of technology-related activities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Compute, Resiliency, and Enterprise Architecture to drive alignment on deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and implementation plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience within technology, infrastructure, or transformation environments
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-workstream programs with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience preparing executive-level status updates and managing senior stakeholder communications
  • Proven experience leading complex technology transformation programs as a Project Manager or Program Manager
  • Experience managing project plans, dependencies, milestones, and delivery schedules
  • Financial management experience including budget tracking, forecasting, and cost oversight
  • Background supporting infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or data center
  • Strong understanding of project governance, RAID management, planning, risk tracking, and reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and program governance
  • Strong ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors transformation initiatives
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting AWS, hybrid cloud, or public cloud transformation programs
  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies including resiliency, disaster recovery, backup, networking, and compute environments
  • Experience with application migration, modernization, or service transition initiatives
  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively engage both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Exposure to cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, data center transformation, or application migration programs preferred
  • Experience in regulated industries, including banking or financial services, is preferred
