Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Director PMO in Oakwood, GA to lead the IT PMO, establish scalable governance, and drive enterprise change management across ERP programs. You will oversee project intake, prioritization, and portfolio governance while coaching a team of project managers to ensure delivery excellence.

The role partners with IT, Finance, and business leaders on budgets, resource planning, and benefits realization, guiding large-scale ERP deployments from plant floor to enterprise functions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Oakwood, GA that is seeking a Director PMO. Summary:

• Lead and evolve the IT Project Management Office (PMO), creating scalable governance, standards, methodologies, and reporting processes
• Provide executive leaders with clear visibility into project health, risks, resource needs, budgets, and delivery milestones
• Oversee project intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, and governance processes to ensure investments align with business objectives
• Coach and develop a team of Project Managers to drive consistency and excellence in project execution
• Partner with IT, Finance, and business leaders on resource planning, budget forecasting, and benefits realization
• Establish and lead enterprise change management strategies, frameworks, and best practices
• Guide stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communication planning, training strategies, and adoption measurement
• Ensure change management is embedded within project delivery and business readiness activities
• Build and mentor change-management capabilities to support large‑scale transformation efforts across the organization
• Direct cutover and deployment activities for major technology implementations and transformation programs
• Lead go-live planning, readiness assessments, contingency planning, and transition‑to‑support activities
• Coordinate business and technical teams to ensure successful deployment execution
• Support post‑launch stabilization and continuous improvement efforts to drive long‑term success
• Continuously enhance PMO, change management, and deployment practices, tools, and governance models
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery maturity, user adoption, and organizational effectiveness
• Promote best practices that strengthen execution and business outcomes across the enterprise

Requirements

• Proven PMO leadership experience
• Organizational Change Management leadership experience
• Direct leadership of project managers and PMO functions
• Hands‑on ERP implementation experience
• Manufacturing environment ERP implementation experience
• Experience leading large‑scale ERP programs from plant floor operations through finance and enterprise functions
• Ability to identify implementation risks, pitfalls, and dependencies based on personal implementation experience
• Experience coaching PMs and maintaining governance, standards, and methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
