This is a professional position in Parks and Recreation responsible for project administration and management of multifaceted projects to include planning, design review, development and implementation as it relates to activities associated with the various aspects of parks and recreation capital improvement and capital outlay purchases.
The Parks Project Manager will be involved with every aspect of each parks and recreation capital improvement project, including long-term planning, preliminary design implementation, project planning and initiation, fieldwork, bid and construction documents, contract administration, construction oversight, and funding, to include grant writing/reporting. This position works with other City departments, affected community members and business organizations, government agencies and other internal/external stakeholders.
Employee works in a position that is classified as 40 hours per week.

City pays contribution toward employee only medical and dental insurance. Employee can pay the difference to cover spouse and/or children. Life & LTD insurance coverage is provided.
