Job summary

City of Northglenn is seeking a Parks Project Manager to oversee multifaceted park and recreation capital projects, from planning through construction and funding. This exempt, full-time role involves collaboration with multiple departments, stakeholders, and grant administration.

Responsibilities include design coordination, bid preparation, and construction supervision, with a focus on long-range planning and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field required.
• 2–5 years of professional administrative project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares plans and specifications for park and recreation projects (buildings, irrigation, landscaping, trails, etc.).
• Prepares cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
• Prepares pre-bid materials and coordinates RFQ/RFP/IFB processes; responds to questions and reviews bids.
• Reviews detailed plans for quality and code compliance; assists in problem-solving.
• Coordinates obtaining permits and clearances for construction.
• Oversees construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Assists with master planning, community input, and project goals; develops work plans.
