Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Project Manager for NCDOT work in Greensboro, NC and across central North Carolina. You will manage NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, and field teams.

Candidates must have 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil projects with documented NCDOT experience. Relocation to central NC is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work for a contractor.
• Documented NCDOT project experience as the PM is required. Be ready to name the jobs.
• You have already run projects in their entirety. This is not a step up role for an APM or Project Engineer.
• Contractor side builders only. Consultant, design or inspection only backgrounds will not fit.

Responsibilities

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the Project Manager of record, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
