Job summary

Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Charleston, SC. You will support project planning, organize resources, and help apply project management principles across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM/Construction/Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with oil and gas industry and natural gas compressors preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with PMs, subs, internal teams.

What it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Experience with oil and gas industry preferred
• Experience with natural gas compressors preferred
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long‑term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
