Job summary

Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES) is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support planning and organization, implement project management principles, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs.

This role requires travel and onsite work on energy and infrastructure projects across North America. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in PM/CM/Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, plus familiarity with oil and gas industries and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM/CM/Engineering or related field with 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience with oil and gas industry preferred.
• Travel ability for extended durations; onsite field work experience.

What it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Experience with oil and gas industry preferred
• Experience with natural gas compressors preferred
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
