FlexLink in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple customer projects from initiation through completion, acting as the primary point of contact and coordinating cross‑functional engineering and support teams.

The role requires managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and execution in a fast-paced environment, with strong technical reading skills, effective communication, and a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of project management experience in manufacturing or automation.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and profitability.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specs.
• Strong customer-facing communication and negotiation skills.
• Vendor and supplier management experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting.
• Proficiency with Autodesk/AutoCAD drawing reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handoffs from Applications Engineering and Sales for execution.
• Direct approval drawings with Project Engineering and customers through acceptance.
• Develop and maintain schedules across engineering, milestones, assembly, and commissioning.
• Provide regular customer updates and address risks and delays.
• Negotiate ECNs with customers and coordinate related POs with Finance.
• Monitor financial performance including forecasting and margins.
• Present status and risks at weekly milestone meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Assembly and Installation to resolve issues.
