Overview

DICE is currently partnering with a technology company that specializes in assessing infrastructure, systems, and processes to build end-user IT solutions. Serving a diverse range of industries—including healthcare, retail, manufacturing and more —this company delivers customized, scalable solutions to meet business needs. We are seeking a Low Voltage Project Manager to join the team in Waukesha, WI. This is an on-site position with occasional travel required. This has quarterly bonus potential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scopes of work (SOWs), timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee installation and integration of low-voltage systems from design through commissioning and handover.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate project teams, including technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure efficient coordination and resolve any on-site issues.
  • Monitor project budget/finances, track expenses, handle project estimations, and implement cost-control measures. Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize profitability without sacrificing quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partner with general contractors, and stakeholders. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and address concerns to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Conduct risk assessments, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and perform quality inspections. Mitigate delays or issues through proactive problem-solving.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry codes (e.g., NEC, BICSI) and regulations. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and as-built drawings.
  • Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate project closeout, including final inspections, client training, and warranty management. Analyze project performance to inform future improvements.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years in low-voltage systems installation or project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of low-voltage technologies, including structured cabling, security systems, fire alarms, access control, and audiovisual integration.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project), estimating tools (e.g., Accubid), and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to motivate teams and negotiate effectively.
  • Superior problem-solving, budgeting, and scheduling abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • RCDD, ASIS PSP, or similar credentials in low-voltage or telecommunications.
  • Travel as needed (up to 25%): Some Daily and Some Overnight
