The Theater Outsource Inc is seeking a Project Manager to oversee lighting, control and rigging system integration projects from kickoff through closeout for clients in Broadcast, sports, corporate and performing arts centers.

You will manage schedules and budgets, communicate with clients, and coordinate with in-house designers, integrators, vendors, electricians, general contractors, consultants and architects.

Mansioni

• Partner with in-house designers and integrators, external vendors and site contacts, electricians, GCs, consultants, architects and other design team members.
• Manage all phases of systems projects including procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Maintain communication with customers and internal teams including equipment department and design staff.
• Review project documents, drawings, schedules, and scopes of work to ensure alignment with site progress.
• Update Gantt charts and coordinate with Systems Admin for onsite and installation needs.
• Oversee submittals, field measurements, and change orders.
• Coordinate field service, subcontractors, and installation timelines.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and post-project performance.
• Assist with budgeting for new projects in the proposal and OOM phases.

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee lighting, control and rigging system integration projects from kickoff through closeout. This includes a diverse clientele including Broadcast, sports, corporate and performing arts centers. This role manages schedules, budgets, client communication, and coordination with internal teams and subcontractors. Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills, technical understanding of entertainment or architectural lighting systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Ability to excel partnering with in-house designers and integrators, external vendors and site contacts, electricians, general contractors, consultants, architects and other members of the design team.
• Manage all phases of systems projects, including procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout
• Maintain communication with customers and internal teams including equipment department and design staff
• Review project documents, drawings, schedules, and scopes of work to ensure that internal schedules are up to date and match real world site progress
• Update gantt charts and work with Systems Admin team to plan for onsite and installation needs
• Oversee submittals, field measurements, and change orders
• Coordinate field service, subcontractors, and installation timelines
• Monitor budgets, costs, and post-project performance
• Assist with budgeting for new projects in the proposal and OOM phases

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Experience working in a construction and installation environment
• Familiarity with entertainment lighting systems
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multiple teams both internally and externally
• Ability to work Microsoft suite as well as learn new systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work in CAD, Vectorworks and Bluebeam
• Experience in Zoho Management Suite
• In depth knowledge of ETC lighting control, power control and rigging products
• Current or previous ETC ASP certification
• PMI Certification or previous formal project management training
