Job summary

Bohler’s Columbus, OH office is seeking a Project Manager who can lead complex land development projects from concept to completion, balancing design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage design, permitting, scheduling, and contract administration, and present at hearings and client meetings to advance Bohler’s regional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and leadership.
• Lead and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.
