Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end ICSS/DCS projects in the United States. You will oversee engineering, procurement, integration, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and service handover with global teams, ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery and strong customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 15+ years ICSS/DCS experience, and 10+ years in project management with EPC exposure. PMP is preferred, and travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 15 years’ experience in ICSS/DCS or process control systems.
  • 10 years’ experience in Project Management and Execution, including EPC engagement, contract management, and resource management.
  • PMP Training and Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex ICSS projects across the full lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, integration, testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and service handover.
  • Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, cost forecasts, and resource allocation.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while optimizing profitability and cash flow.
  • Monitor project performance, implement corrective actions, and provide status updates to stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with remote and international teams.
  • Drive margin improvement through cost optimization and efficient execution.
  • Lead change order development, including scoping, risk assessment, negotiation, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, financial requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Support proposal development and pre-award activities.
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Lead project reviews, status meetings, and reporting.
  • Resolve issues and identify opportunities for contract growth or scope expansion.
  • Ensure adherence to Yokogawa standards, project quality plans, and ISO procedures.
  • Oversee engineering deliverables, system architecture, and technical execution.
  • Participate in and oversee FAT, SAT, and design reviews.
  • Complete and archive documentation, reporting, and project closeout activities.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, vendors, subcontractors, and internal support functions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to project team members.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment, communication, collaboration, resources, tools, and training.

Job description

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and resource management
  • Experience developing project execution plans, resource strategies, and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization
  • Experience with project reporting, performance tracking, and executive-level presentations
  • Ability to manage project changes, negotiations, and contract-related matters effectively
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 15 years’ experience in ICSS/DCS or process control systems
  • 10 years’ experience in Project Management and Execution, including EPC engagement, contract management, and resource management
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System Awareness
  • Experience in Project and System Design Engineering Packages and related Software
  • Experience working with international teams and culture
  • Current US work authorization without the need for employer sponsorship
  • PMP Training and Certification (preferred)
