Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Project Manager II to lead medium- to large-scale healthcare design and construction capital projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate with clinical and facilities stakeholders, and ensure compliance in active acute care settings. Procore experience and a PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities include planning through closeout, risk mitigation for patient safety, and reporting to hospital leadership with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction-related field required.
• 5 years of experience leading construction or capital projects.
• Experience delivering healthcare projects in occupied/acute care environments preferred.
• Procore or similar project management software proficiency required.
• Familiarity with DMV & AHJ standards preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• PMP certification preferred.

This role is accountable for project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating closely with clinical, operational, and facilities stakeholders. Project Manager II works independently on complex projects and serves as a technical and execution leader within the capital projects organization.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProject Planning, Delivery & Compliance: Lead complex healthcare design and construction projects from planning through closeout, including acute care renovations, phased work in occupied facilities, and multi-discipline projects. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clinical leadership, facilities operations, consultants, contractors, and vendors to support safe execution in active healthcare environments. Identify and mitigate risks related to patient safety, infection prevention, phasing, utilities, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with FGI requirements, licensing standards, infection prevention plans, and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM).Financial Oversight, Reporting & Capital Prioritization: Provide advanced financial oversight, including forecasting, change management, claims avoidance, and schedule recovery. Prepare and deliver project updates for hospital leadership and internal stakeholders. Support capital prioritization and sequencing across departments and maintain executive-level project documentation and reporting in Procore or a comparable system.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONBachelors in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. RequiredEXPERIENCE5 years, experience leading construction or capital projects, with demonstrated experience delivering healthcare projects in occupied or acute care environments. Proven ability to independently manage complex projects and lead cross functional teams. Required, Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software.
