Due to nuclear site access/or export-controlled project requirements, this role requires candidates must also be willing to work on W2.

Hiring: Manufacturing Capital Projects / Construction Project Manager – Pensacola, FL

Work Model: 100% On-site

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: Approximately 12 Months (Possible multi-year extension and conversion to Full time based on performance)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $37/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Engineer to lead manufacturing capital equipment installations and facility improvement projects at a manufacturing site in Pensacola, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of a wide variety of manufacturing capital equipment.
• Manage projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and successful implementation.
• Serve as a Construction Project Manager for facility additions, modifications, and upgrades required to prepare manufacturing areas for new equipment.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, equipment installation, and facility-related activities to meet project requirements.
• Work as an engineer and technical leader to resolve complex challenges involving a variety of manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and adapt facility infrastructure to support new equipment and successful industrialization.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, facilities, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or industrial construction involving the installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Experience coordinating complex engineering, manufacturing, construction, or equipment installation activities.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing industrial equipment installation projects.
• Experience managing industrial construction or facility improvement projects.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment commissioning and industrialization.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve technical challenges in a manufacturing environment.
