Summary/Objective
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of small to medium-scale projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, and closeout activities.
- Oversee project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Provide leadership and decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project kick‑offs, engineering reviews, and client meetings.
- Maintain compliance with QF‑8.2.3.5 Contract Handover Checklist and NPI gate reviews.
Execution & Coordination
- Review contracts, specifications, and client documentation.
- Develop and secure approval for execution plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to resolve issues.
- Direct fabrication, installation, start‑up activities, and in‑progress inspections.
- Monitor documentation, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Financial & Risk Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Generate change orders with supporting cost documentation.
- Track labor hours, expenses, and progress against financial targets.
- Identify risks and implement corrective action plans, including warranty resolutions.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure project alignment with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Support audits and regulatory reviews as required.
- Promote a culture of safety across all project environments.
- Strong technical knowledge in construction or engineering.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Primarily office‑based with regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
- Occasional exposure to fabrication shops and job sites; strict adherence to safety protocols required.
Physical Demands
- Primarily sedentary role with some light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs, file handling, site visits).
Travel
- Local travel as needed.
- Up to 20% domestic and international travel depending on project requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of international project and/or construction management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- 5 years’ experience in power, oil & gas, data center, or district energy industries.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Work Authorization
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
