The successful candidate will have experience managing the design and delivery of roadway, bridge, and related transportation improvement projects. Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, this individual will oversee technical work, project schedules, budgets, staffing, and construction support while ensuring compliance with applicable design standards.
This role offers the opportunity to maintain direct client relationships, provide technical direction to engineering staff, and deliver diverse transportation improvements for local, county, and state agencies. The Project Manager will also collaborate with Regional and Department management on proposals, business development, and opportunities to expand FPA’s transportation practice.
FPA’s Highway & Traffic Department provides design and construction support services for transportation improvement projects serving local, county, and state agencies.
The Project Manager – Highway & Traffic will lead project teams, coordinate work across disciplines, and oversee projects from design through construction support. This role requires the technical expertise, leadership, and organizational skills needed to manage multiple assignments, resolve project challenges, and deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement plans. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, education, qualifications, and skill set. FPA recognizes and rewards performance through an annual bonus program.
