Qualifications

  • Strong Project Management experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience within high-end residential or luxury construction preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of trades, scopes, sequencing, and field execution.
  • Experience with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and project financials.
  • Excellent leadership and client-facing communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver with safety focus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects through preconstruction, construction, closeout, and post-construction.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Partner with superintendents and field teams.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate submittals, purchasing schedules, and material procurement.
  • Track change orders, project costs, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Manage billing, collections, subcontractor payments, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and ownership teams.
  • Monitor permitting, inspections, and closeout requirements.
  • Identify risks before they impact the project.
  • Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards.
  • Oversee punch lists and closeout process.

We are partnering with a highly regarded general contractor specializing in high-end residential and luxury construction to hire an experienced Project Manager for their Los Angeles team.

The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects or one larger-scale project, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects through preconstruction, construction, closeout, and post-construction
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and key milestones
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate submittals, purchasing schedules, and material procurement
  • Track change orders, project costs, budgets, and forecasting
  • Manage billing, collections, subcontractor payments, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and ownership teams
  • Monitor permitting, inspections, and project closeout requirements
  • Identify scheduling, financial, and construction risks before they impact the project
  • Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
  • Promote and enforce company and OSHA safety standards
  • Oversee punch lists and the overall closeout process
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong Project Management experience within the construction industry
  • Experience within high-end residential, luxury, or highly detailed construction preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades, scopes, sequencing, and field execution
  • Experience with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and project financials
  • Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of construction safety requirements
