The Project Manager will be a key member of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The team leads client software implementation projects, working closely with Product Management to identify opportunities and develop solutions. The role involves managing software implementations from start to finish, collaborating with clients and internal teams (including Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, and Leadership) in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, capable of managing multiple projects, skilled in relationship building, and understands the software development lifecycle. This position offers opportunities to influence business processes and contribute to company success. It is a technical role with product quality accountability, requiring motivation and mentorship of cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact during implementation and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
  • Define projects, execute tasks, deliverables, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to gather complete and accurate business requirements from clients.
  • Coordinate across functional teams as a team leader and player.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align product vision with customer needs.
  • Present project statuses to the executive team.
  • Work with Business Analysts to ensure documentation reflects client needs clearly for Development and QA teams.
  • Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
  • Coordinate development effort estimates.
  • Plan milestones, track progress, and prioritize bug reports.
  • Coordinate training for team members.
Requirements
  • Deep technical skills, including understanding of sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, integrations, and HTML.
  • Experience with Specialty Pharmacy and SaaS or enterprise software implementation.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Experience consulting for external clients.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, and integrity.
  • Strong data, business, and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years managing complex software projects, including client-facing projects.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Experience in the specialty pharmacy industry preferred.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
