Michael Page US is assisting a leading Columbus GC with a Senior Project Manager role focused on healthcare construction projects over $100M. You will lead project safety, procurement, subcontract coordination, cost control, and client negotiations while leveraging strong autonomy and support across the PM team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
• Hospital project experience & ICRA knowledge preferred.
• Ability to review all construction documents including specs and drawings.
• Excellent written and oral communication with management, subs, consultants, vendors and clients.

Responsibilities

About Our Client

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with experience leading $100M+ ground up Healthcare construction projects in the Columbus area. This person will hit the ground running and this particular GC is well-known for the incredible support provided across their project management team - giving you the backing you need to do your job well, while also providing autonomy.

Job Description

• Provide project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture
• Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals
• Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met
• Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project
• Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals
• Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts
• Represent our client in the subcontract negotiations

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
• Previous hospital project experience & ICRA knowledge preferred
• Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients.
• Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical.
