Job summary

MPI is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial construction initiatives in the Atlanta area. You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships on complex projects valued at $2M or more, coordinating with teams, subs, and consultants to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have proven PM experience in commercial, healthcare, or multi-use environments, with strong budgeting, scheduling, and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven Project Manager experience in commercial construction
  • Experience delivering tenant improvements in Class A offices
  • Experience with healthcare construction projects
  • Ground-up construction experience preferred
  • Higher education project experience preferred
  • Experience managing renovation in occupied buildings
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project controls tools
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
  • Experience delivering multi-floor tenant improvement or renovation projects within Class A office environments
  • Experience with medical office buildings and healthcare construction projects
  • Ground-up construction experience preferred
  • Higher education project experience strongly preferred
  • Experience delivering complex laboratory, examination room, imaging, or technical facility projects
  • Track record managing renovation projects within occupied buildings
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and standard project controls tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
