Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead day-to-day activities on a large ground-up commercial project, coordinating with the Senior Project Manager and a project team. The role requires strong K-12 portfolio awareness and the ability to drive schedule, budget, safety, and quality on a multi-year construction effort.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong ground-up commercial construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and project teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work full-time in Las Vegas or relocate for a long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities for a large-scale ground-up commercial project.
• Partner with the Senior Project Manager to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and execution.
• Lead and develop the project team, including APM, Project Engineer, and Project Administrator.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, procurement, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, schedules, and potential risks.
• Lead subcontractor coordination and ensure commitments and deadlines are met.
• Participate in owner and project meetings and communicate status effectively.
• Identify schedule, cost, or constructability issues before they impact the project.
• Support project closeout and turnover.
• Maintain company standards for safety, quality, professionalism, and client service.
