Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee fire and life safety system projects from initial scope through commissioning. You will coordinate field operations, maintain budgets, review designs for compliance, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding quality standards.

The role requires 2–5 years in construction project management, strong knowledge of codes, OSHA, and the ability to lead teams with clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a project manager in construction.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable code requirements.
• Customer-centric, proficient in project management
• Ability to manage scheduling and progress cost-effectively
• Ability to estimate and propose change orders
• Ability to read system designs on blueprints and project specs
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases: coordinate workers, materials, and equipment within budget and schedule.
• Ensure project stays within budget; identify overruns and implement mitigations.
• Assist in estimate development and clarify scope and contract requirements.
• Maintain open communication with customers, contractors, and partners.
• Review drawings for conformance with regulations and standards.
• Support manpower planning and project budgets; provide monthly cost-to-complete updates.
• Participate in pre-bid reviews and project turnovers.
• Manage job costs, billing, and gross margins.
• Ensure proper PPE and safety programs are followed.
