You will read and interpret plans, coordinate bids with subcontractors, support value engineering, track budgets, and ensure documentation stays current.

Qualifications

• General understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Bidding & Scope Management: Review drawings, solicit bids, identify scope gaps, coordinate pricing.
• Purchasing & Subcontractor Coordination: Select subcontractors, issue purchase orders, maintain pricing consistency.
• Budget & Cost Tracking: Build and maintain budgets, track costs, manage change orders and cost adjustments.
• Project Coordination: Align budget, schedule, and field execution with project managers and superintendents.
• Technology & Systems: Maintain project data in Buildertrend and keep budgets, schedules, and docs up to date.

Project Manager / Estimator – Residential Construction

We operate as an integrated developer and builder, managing projects from land acquisition through construction and delivery, with a strong focus on efficiency, cost control, and execution.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to support the bidding, purchasing, and cost management of residential construction projects.

This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of residential construction experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and technology-driven.

The position will work closely with ownership and field superintendents to help manage subcontractors, budgets, and purchasing across multiple projects.

Candidates should be comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to understand scope and coordinate bidding. Full quantity takeoffs are not required, but the ability to understand plans and identify scope gaps is essential.
