The Mom Project seeks a Project Manager / Estimator for residential construction in Deerfield, IL. The role blends bidding, purchasing, and cost control across multiple projects, requiring 2–5 years of residential experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of residential construction, project coordination, estimating, or purchasing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Buildertrend or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret drawings to understand project scope.
• Solicit and organize subcontractor bids across trades.
• Assist in comparing bids and identifying scope gaps.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for complete and accurate pricing.
• Support value engineering and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Assist in selecting subcontractors and suppliers and issue purchase orders.
• Track job costs, budgets, and change orders; ensure cost control.
