Job summary

Taylor Northwest, headquartered in Bend, OR, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to handle tasks across budgeting, scheduling, takeoffs, and client relations. The role emphasizes accuracy in proposals, adherence to specifications, and efficient project execution in a heavy civil context.

Ideal candidates bring a 4-year CEM/Engineering degree (or equivalent), strong math and communication abilities, experience with CADD/Survey, GPS, and estimating software such as HCSS, plus proficiency with

Qualifications

• 4-year CEM and/or Engineering degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Math Skills.
• Experience through internships or summer job(s), particularly in equipment operation and/or maintenance.
• CADD/Survey Experience.
• Must have computer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience using estimating software, HCSS preferred.
• Experience with GPS/Survey and CAD/3d Modeling preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess a valid current Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage change order work.
• Create and implement project schedule.

• Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules.

POSITION SUMMARY

Project Manager/Estimator will have responsibilities or roles in billing, change orders, accurate proposals, specification requirements and project scheduling.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management

• Build and maintain owner/client relationship
• Organize tasks to be completed
• Review and implement HCSS project budgets
• Code invoices received on the job to proper budget item
• Track and manage change order work
• Create and implement project schedule
