Job summary

Taylor Northwest, headquartered in Bend, OR, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to handle tasks across budgeting, scheduling, takeoffs, and client relations. The role emphasizes accuracy in proposals, adherence to specifications, and efficient project execution in a heavy civil context.

Ideal candidates bring a 4-year CEM/Engineering degree (or equivalent), strong math and communication abilities, experience with CADD/Survey, GPS, and estimating software such as HCSS, plus proficiency with

Qualifications

4-year CEM and/or Engineering degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
Advanced Math Skills.
Experience through internships or summer job(s), particularly in equipment operation and/or maintenance.
CADD/Survey Experience.
Must have computer experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience using estimating software, HCSS preferred.
Experience with GPS/Survey and CAD/3d Modeling preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Possess a valid current Driver’s License.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain owner/client relationship.
Organize tasks to be completed.
Review and implement HCSS project budgets.
Code invoices received on the job to proper budget item.
Track and manage change order work.
Create and implement project schedule.
Develop project takeoff and value engineering.
Attend pre-bids, pre-jobs and project meetings.
Review and evaluate job costs and budget with accounting staff.
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules.
