Job summary

SERVPRO of Culpeper & Fauquier Counties is seeking a driven Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Alexandria, VA. In this field-based role you’ll lead restoration projects from assessment to completion, coordinating timelines, budgets, and client communications.

Develop accurate estimates with Xactimate, conduct on-site inspections, ensure safety and quality, and build relationships with insurance carriers and property owners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restoration, construction, or a PM/estimating role.
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software preferred.
• Strong knowledge of water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation.
• Excellent communication and customer service with a client-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and develop accurate project estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates using Xactimate or similar estimating software.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor job site progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Document project scope, changes, and updates accurately in job management systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and property owners to drive repeat business.
