Job summary

SERVPRO of Culpeper & Fauquier Counties in Alexandria, VA is seeking a driven Project Manager/Estimator to lead restoration projects from assessment to completion. You’ll manage people, timelines, and budgets, while ensuring clear communication with customers and insurers.

You will use Xactimate for detailed estimates and oversee field operations, safety, and quality control. Experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, and mold remediation is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restoration, construction, or PM/estimating role.
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of water mitigation, fire restoration and mold remediation.
• Excellent communication and client-service orientation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; field-based work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and develop accurate restoration estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates using Xactimate or similar software.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, insurers, and internal teams.
• Monitor job-site progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Document project scope and changes in job management systems.
• Build relationships with insurance carriers and property owners to drive repeat business.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a client-first mindset
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) are a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a field-based environment
