Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a driven Project Manager – Equipment Solutions & Support to guide automation projects from scope to delivery at our Evansville facility. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, and external suppliers to ensure projects meet schedules and budgets while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires 3–5+ years in manufacturing/engineering project management, strong communication, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and plants.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and organize automation projects from initial scope through delivery.
  • Maintain project schedules, action logs, and status updates to ensure alignment and continuity across all teams.
  • Track project performance against timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Support engineering teams by coordinating documentation, requirements, and technical inputs.
  • Provide routine communication to corporate and plant stakeholders on project status, risk, and progress.
  • Develop and manage action plans that drive accountability and on-time completion.
  • Ensure clear task handoffs and seamless workflow between mechanical, electrical, controls, and operations teams.
  • Facilitate targeted cross-functional collaboration to maintain project momentum.
  • Identify gaps in processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
