Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to provide technical leadership across production value streams, including extrusion, lamination, printing, and related processes. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a busy packaging facility.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• An Undergraduate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on flexible packaging specifications and end use applications.
• Lean Six Sigma certification at a minimum Green Belt level; Black Belt preferred and will be required within a short period of obtaining the position.
• Some degree of external training and/or internal seminars in management, safety, quality, problem solving or related technical topics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to production value streams, improving EHS, quality and productivity.
• Lead safety, audits and safety training.
• Monitor and improve product quality; resolve quality issues and dispositions quarantined product.
• Plan and implement equipment repairs and improvements and coordinate major work with planning and maintenance.

Value stream processes include tandem extrusion, adhesive lamination, flexographic and rotogravure printing, slitting and various auxiliary processes.WHAT YOU GET TO DOActs as a safety leader and demonstrates by complying with all safety rules, policies, regulations and procedures; participating in safety programs, audits and encouraging employee involvement from all employees in all safety activities. Supports all written safety programs and safety training.Monitors and improves product quality. Resolves quality issues and dispositions quarantined product.
