Weston is seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing environmental remediation projects at industrial client sites. The Project Manager should have a background in managing large-scale construction projects, assemble the project team, and manage the project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure Weston’s commitments and financial goals are met. The individual must have technical expertise in either Engineering or Geology/Environmental Science (Engineering preferred) and be able to work with our Construction Manager to develop scopes/budgets and monitor the execution of design/build environmental remedial construction projects. The individual, based in or near West Chester, PA, will need to travel to sites in Alabama and Minnesota to scope projects and monitor project execution, ensuring client expectations regarding quality, safety, and compliance are met. The ability to adapt to changing site/field conditions is essential.

Location: West Chester, PA, with up to 20% travel to Alabama and Minnesota as needed.

Expected Outcomes:
  1. Build connections with major stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  2. Develop an understanding of stakeholder organizations to ensure successful partnering.
  3. Identify team and individual strengths to fulfill project goals and develop new leaders.
  4. Resolve stakeholder and team conflicts with support from other managers.
  5. Manage project teams by clearly communicating expectations for project requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
  6. Enable team members to succeed through effective communication of goals and reinforcement of goal achievement.
  7. Communicate with and align team with scope of work.
  8. Manage and communicate project changes with the client and project team.
  9. Utilize project support team capabilities when needed.
  10. Manage quality and health & safety.
  11. Assist with proposal efforts, including costing and profitability planning.
  12. Understand and articulate project scope based on RFP and/or contract.
  13. Proactively identify project issues and develop options for corrective action.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, and recommend actions on overdue accounts.
  15. Comply with Weston’s purchasing and subcontracting requirements.
  16. Procure follow-on work of similar type from stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 10 years' experience managing large remedial construction projects.
  • Ability to lead project teams on self-perform remedial construction projects.
  • Strong technical skills to develop cost-effective construction approaches.
  • Promote relationships between Weston team members and clients.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to understand client needs.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to construction sites on short notice.

Salary Range: $80,800 - $107,800 - $134,700
