Role Overview: The Strategy Project Manager I supports the development and implementation of enterprise-level strategies, promotes process optimization, and addresses ongoing business issues. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance, deploying continuous improvement methodologies, and developing analytical tools to foster organizational transformation. Collaboration with senior leaders and employees is essential to understand needs, design future states, and implement sustainable processes. While primarily focused on mortgage lending or loan servicing, the role also involves participating in cross-functional enterprise projects. Compliance with company policies and applicable regulations is mandatory. The target pay range for this position is $93,900.

Note to Applicants: Residency near Dallas/Plano, TX, Westfield, IN, or Nashville, TN is required due to travel commitments to Carrington offices several times a year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders to assess needs and develop growth and efficiency solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, analyze their business impact, and communicate progress.
• Lead projects through all lifecycle phases, from analysis to deployment.
• Translate requirements into objectives, develop schedules, estimates, and resource plans.
• Manage multiple projects with various stakeholder groups.
• Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
• Establish KPIs, design reporting solutions, and use data to improve business performance.
• Analyze data to implement process improvements.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience required.
• Mortgage lending or servicing background a plus.
• Experience managing projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Encompass, TPO portals, and Loan Operating Systems.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior management and organize long-term work schedules.
