Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct multiple medium to large-sized projects within a department or business unit.
  • Lead all phases of project execution: scope, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain project requirements, timelines, deliverables, and status reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, consultants, and contractors to achieve objectives.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to project teams and third-party resources.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Develop business cases and project justifications to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor performance, establish team goals, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Research and recommend contractors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts and modifications.
  • Conduct budget analysis, cost forecasting, and financial tracking.
  • Prepare project materials for leadership and regulatory agencies.
  • Deliver project updates, presentations, and reports to senior leadership.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices.

Job Summary:

This role requires strong project management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, risk management capabilities, and the ability to drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project requirements, timelines, deliverables, issue logs, and status reports.

  • Evaluate and address project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Develop business cases and project justifications focused on improving operational efficiency and business processes.
  • Monitor project performance, establish team goals, and evaluate project outcomes.
  • Research, assess, and recommend contractors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Prepare, negotiate, review, and manage contracts and contract modifications.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-5 years of project management experience leading medium to large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in regulated industries or environments requiring compliance oversight.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
