Job summary

KSA Technology Partners, LLC. seeks an experienced Project Manager with a power and utility background to support critical infrastructure projects across telecom central offices, data centers, and gateway sites.

The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end power/utility projects, coordinate with engineers, field ops, vendors, and contractors, and ensure schedules, budgets, and risks are controlled. This role focuses on safety, quality, and operational standards in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience supporting power, electrical, utility, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of power systems within critical facilities.
• Experience with UPS systems, DC power, electrical plants, switchgear, distribution boards, batteries, generators, cooling systems.
• Experience managing projects in telecommunications central offices, data centers, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end power and utility projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, field operations, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
• Track project progress, assess risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate equipment installation, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and cutovers.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, engineering, and operational standards.
• Manage contractor and vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and executive-level communications.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong power and utility background to support critical infrastructure projects across telecom central offices, data centers, and gateway sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical power systems and critical facility infrastructure, along with proven experience managing complex power/utility projects from planning through completion. Candidates with experience supporting telecommunications, central office, data center, or other mission-critical environments are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end power and utility projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Support projects involving electrical plants, UPS systems, rectifiers, distribution boards, switchgear, batteries, generators, and related power infrastructure.
• Manage project activities at telecommunications central offices, data centers, and gateway sites.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, field operations, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
• Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate equipment installation, upgrades, replacements, testing, commissioning, and cutovers.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, engineering, and operational standards.
• Manage contractor and vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate activities involving power systems, cooling infrastructure, disaster recovery, and facility upgrades.
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, risk assessments, and executive-level communications.
• Identify potential issues before they impact project schedules, budgets, or critical facility operations.
• Ensure proper project documentation, turnover, and closeout.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience supporting power, electrical, utility, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of power systems within critical facilities.
• Experience working with some or all of the following:
• UPS systems
• DC power systems
• Electrical plants
• Switchgear
• Distribution boards
• Batteries
• Generators
• Cooling systems
• Experience managing projects within telecommunications central offices, data centers, gateway sites, or similar mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and vendor coordination.
• Experience managing contractors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Telecom or central office experience from a power/electrical perspective.
• Data center or mission-critical facility experience.
• Experience with disaster recovery (DR) projects.
• Experience managing electrical infrastructure upgrades, replacements, or expansions.
• Electrical, engineering, construction management, or utility-related education or certifications.
