Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee leasing, zoning, permitting, and construction for telecommunications sites. You will manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, within-scope projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 2–4 years of PM experience in complex environments, and preferably PMP certification. Travel is required, and proficiency with MS Project and related tools is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management for leasing, zoning, permitting, regulatory compliance, and construction processes for new and modified telecommunications sites.
  • Manage projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Support network development and modification activities involving real estate, entitlement, and construction tasks.
  • Manage real estate and entitlement milestones across new cell site builds and existing site upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, monitor milestone progress, and identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings with internal teams, site acquisition vendors, and key partners.
  • Manage site acquisition vendors through the entitlement process.
  • Lead project kick-offs, establish scope and timelines, and identify risks.
  • Track project budgets and process purchase orders.
  • Develop and manage project resources for construction and development services.
  • Communicate project status and coordinate documentation and approvals.
  • Participate in risk mitigation planning and elevate issues.
  • Review and redline construction documents with Architecture & Engineering teams.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 2–4 years of project management experience supporting or managing small projects in complex environments (Required)
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfortable building presentations in PowerPoint and managing documents in Adobe Acrobat
  • Microsoft Project or similar experience (Required)
  • Ability to use Magenta Built to build and maintain project timelines, track milestone deliverables, and manage an active project portfolio
  • Strong professional presentation skills and ability to deliver clear project status updates
  • Experience with purchase order processing and budget management
  • Ability to initiate and manage projects from kick-off through deployment
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to negotiate with property owners, landlords, and municipalities regarding lease terms, rights-of-way, and related agreements
  • Experience collaborating with A&E teams to review and redline construction documents
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Travel is required
  • Familiarity with cell site construction processes, government relations or advocacy processes, AI productivity tools, and procurement systems such as Ariba or Scope Worker is a plus or preferred
