Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Champaign, IL area to estimate costs for federal construction projects and keep them on budget.

You will review plans, coordinate with subs and vendors, and prepare bids with detailed cost breakdowns while collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure schedules align with requirements. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of federal construction project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with estimating software: Bluebeam, PlanSwift.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information and ensure that bids are competitive

  • Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and other relevant information
  • Monitor and track project costs and ensure that they remain within budget
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures when appropriate
  • Participate in project meetings and provide ongoing support to project teams as needed

Job Details

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects and ensuring that they are completed within budget. The following are the key responsibilities for this role:
