• Planning all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Acquiring equipment and materials and monitoring stock to address shortages.
• Hiring contractors and staff and allocating responsibilities.
• Supervising laborers and providing guidance as needed.
• Evaluating progress and preparing detailed reports.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in the Construction industry to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, and estimating costs. The successful candidate will have a background in building construction, architecture, or related fields, with a strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles. Responsibilities

• Collaborating with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Planning all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Acquiring equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
• Hiring contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervising the work of laborers, mechanics, etc. and give them guidance when needed.
• Evaluating progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a construction project manager with at least 5+ years in a similar role.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
• Experience in risk management, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and team leadership.
