Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing in Charlotte, NC. The role leads CMT and SI projects, overseeing field testing, data analysis, reporting and client communication to ensure quality and project success.

The position requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years in CMT/inspection, and NCPE license or ability to obtain. Travel up to 25% and overtime may be required. Intertek offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• More than 5 years’ experience in construction materials testing and inspection is required.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for various project types.
• Assisting with project management and reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation and report review.
• Client consultation and maintenance.
• Prepare proposals and perform proposal follow up.
• Perform billing and ensure project is within budget and project closeout.
• Prepare change orders and document changes in scope.
