Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager in the United States to own projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, documentation, and safety while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction PM, experience with healthcare, K-12, and judicial facilities, and a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Experience with healthcare, K-12 education, judicial facilities, or similar projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and owner/subcontract contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of project schedules, costs, contracts, documentation, quality, and safety.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications to ensure project momentum.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support preconstruction by reviewing designs and developing bid and GMP documents.

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing project schedules, costs, contracts, documentation, quality, safety, and relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Job Details
  • 5+ years of construction Project Management experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, cost projections, and financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of owner contracts and subcontract agreements, including scope, terms, responsibilities, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, billing procedures, and project documentation.
  • Strong understanding of claims, notifications, insurance requirements, and changes in scope.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, P6, Procore, iAuditor, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams and subcontractors accountable.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent presence at the assigned workplace and on active project sites.
  • Valid driver's license required.
